Tony Burke, President
A Pinkard employee since 1999, Tony Started as a project engineer. He has moved through the ranks as senior engineer, project manager, senior project manager, and construction manager. Tony has a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Purdue University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Odette Bent-Buckles, Chief Financial Officer
Odette joined Pinkard Construction as Chief Financial Officer in 2014. With a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from UCCS, Odette oversees Pinkard’s accounting, human resources, and information technology departments. She has been in the construction industry since 1994.
Blake Chambliss, Chief Operations Officer
Construction Manager Blake Chambliss has been with Pinkard for almost 40 years. His list of successful projects spans just about the entire gamut of project types, from satellite uplink facilities to recreation centers, multi-family, senior housing, fire training centers, healthcare, and Class A office buildings.
Jose Amaya, Chief Business Development Officer
Jose has recently served in executive-level business development roles at companies like JE Dunn Construction, Cumming Corporation, and Select Building Group Commercial. He has identified opportunities and built relationships with Owners, Developers, General Contractors, and Architectural/Engineering firms for the last 25 years.
Derek Stathis, Director of Construction Management
During his career at Pinkard, Derek has devoted himself to learning everything possible about every aspect of construction while working as a project engineer, project manager, senior PM, construction manager, and now director of construction management.
Jim Pagano, Director of Special Projects
Jim Pagano has over 37 years of experience in commercial construction operations as a project manager and senior project manager. He has managed multiple projects and teams simultaneously for projects ranging from $1 to $32 million in project value.
Mike Warns, Director of Risk Management
Mike’s career at Pinkard began immediately following his return to Colorado in 1992. In 2012, Mike took on the full-time role of Director of Risk Management. As the Risk Management Department head, he oversees and manages Pinkard’s safety, quality control & defect prevention, trade partner prequalification, and claims management.
Jess Becerra, Construction Manager
Jess’s client-first approach has earned him a long list of repeat customers, including Denver Housing Authority (seven projects) and Loveland Housing Authority (seven projects). His approach has produced exceptional projects that have won national awards for quality, budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.
Jessica Nichols, Director of Marketing
Jessica came to Pinkard Construction in 2002 right out of Vanderbilt University with a degree in computer science. Her leadership was so evident that she was promoted to Dir of Marketing in 2017 and invited to be a part of the leadership team. She earned her CPSM certification in 2017.
Troy Bohlender, Quality Control Manager
Troy oversees Pinkard's robust quality control program, ensuring that client expectations and Pinkard's high standards are met. Troy was a Project Superintendent on three national-award-winning projects and brought diverse construction experience.
Jim Mellor, Director of Business Development
Jim joined Pinkard in 1994 as Director of Business Development. During his tenure, Jim has performed and managed all aspects of marketing and business development, from sourcing leads, to writing proposals and conducting presentations, from creating strategic and targeted business plans to developing lifelong client relationships.
Jeff Kessler, Director of Human Resources
Jeff is a Human Resources leader with MBA. He has strong employee relations and HR strategy, and leadership approach. He focuses on leadership development, process improvement, HR project management, and people/culture/process change. Jeff joined Pinkard in 2016.
Eric Schmeer, Director of Technology
Eric joined Pinkard almost eight years ago and has been working to increase the company's technical sophistication. He manages all office and field technology and software solutions allowing Pinkard employees to serve its clients better and deliver award-winning, quality construction projects.
