Renovations & Additions
Pinkard Construction is the best renovation contractor in the business. Since 1962, renovations have accounted for more than half our workload; and during that time, 15 Pinkard renovation projects have been designated the best in the nation by the national Associated Builders and Contractors organization. And, of course, the best part of our renovation experience is that our long-tenured employees are some of the best renovation professionals in the business.

The creation of Pinkard’s Special Projects Division formalizes our new smaller projects business plan and encompasses tenant improvements and renovations, plus ground-up projects up to $5 million. Healthcare Renovations & New Construction
Denver Health and Hospital Authority, The Anschutz Centers for Advanced Medicine, Centura Health, Banner Health, STRIDE Community Health Center, Kaiser, Sloan’s Lake Care and Rehabilitation, Frasier, and El Paso County Coroner are but a few of our recent healthcare partners seeking specialized medical construction experience within an environment of collaboration and expert problem-solving. Our experience spans work within fully operational hospitals and rehab facilities, behavioral health, critical care, and skilled nursing/memory care. Higher Education Construction
Thanks to our more than 75 higher education projects for public and private institutions across Colorado, Pinkard excels at safely negotiating the challenges of working on occupied campuses and providing for the safety of students, staff, and faculty. Our 31 State of Colorado higher education projects have solidly equipped us to efficiently handle the State of Colorado amendment process, contingent compliance notices, and returning contingencies to our clients. Our experience includes athletic facilities, office buildings, research laboratories, student housing, parking structures, and classroom facilities.
With more than 180 multi-family projects under our belt, Pinkard knows more about multi-family construction than any other contractor in Colorado. Whether you are looking for podium slabs, wood or light-gauge metal framing, or structural steel and concrete, Pinkard has a project team with numerous success stories to perfectly match your chosen project type. Our clients include public and private developers. Renovations (including occupied) account for more than half our multi-family revenue.
Affordable Housing Construction
As THE Colorado leader in affordable housing, Pinkard draws on the expertise gained from more than 78 affordable housing projects across the Colorado Front Range. We specialize in providing in-depth preconstruction services with a focus on responsive and knowledgeable support during your funding phase, along with the best affordable housing subcontractor relationships in our industry. All these factors combine to provide you with a smooth funding phase, a predictable and accurate GMP, and quality of construction with an emphasis on durability and life-cycle costs.
From A to (almost) Z, Pinkard’s experience with public/municipal clients covers nearly the entire alphabet, starting with the City of Aspen and ending with the Town of Windsor. In total, we have completed more than 90 projects for 37 public/municipal clients across the Colorado Front Range. And these projects run the gamut in scopes of work and challenges, including high-rise and historical renovations, ground-up medical office buildings and coroners’ facilities, recreation, fleet maintenance facilities, administration/ office buildings, and more. This experience has taught us about our public/municipal clients' unique needs and the accountability and fiscal responsibility that municipalities have to their citizens.
