Project Description 

Pinkard Construction and RNL worked with the City and County of Denver in a design-build relationship to design and construct the Central Platte Campus maintenance facility and office complex at 1271 West Bayaud Avenue. The Central Platte Campus replaces and consolidates several other Public Works administrative and operations functions from other city and county yard locations. The 22-acre, multi-building campus includes:
Fleet maintenance building (structural steel and site-cast concrete wall panels)
Office/warehouse/shops space (structural steel and site-cast concrete wall panels)
Fueling station/large truck wash facility (pre-engineered metal buildings)
Salt dome and magnesium chloride storage area (pre-engineered wood-panels);
Heated and covered parking (pre-engineered metal buildings).
The shops area provides space for numerous Public Works departments including:
Meters and Denver Boot
Traffic Signage and Signals
Solid Waste

The Central Platte Campus project is Leed Gold certified.
