Low Income Housing Tax Credit Construction
Pinkard Construction knows how important the funding process of an affordable housing project is. We worked with the Colorado Housing Finance Authority to create our documentation. Our team assists clients with the paperwork necessary to apply for low-income housing tax credits and other unique funding-sources. We understand how important it is for estimates and construction financing documents to be in a CHFA-approved format for tax credit applications.

Pinkard Construction is a leading renovation contractor with 60 years of experience, with almost 250 renovations (over half our workload). Our expertise in the field is evident in 15 renovation projects being recognized as the best in the nation by the National Associated Builders and Contractors organization.

Getting Procore Right
"Over the years, we’ve had a lot of contractors use Procore on our projects. However, none of them have been able to figure out how to make Procore send us an email that has a single-click embedded link to download the one file that has the submittal or RFI, including its transmittal/cover sheet. They struggle to combine the submittals with their transmittals, and many struggle with correctly naming the PDF. From what I see from your emails, Dave, you’ve figured all of this out. If you could send me the steps on how to set up Procore to do this, we can share it with our other project contractors and see if they can get it right."

Meet Our Team
Anthony Burke, LEED AP, President
A Pinkard employee since 1999, Tony Started as a project engineer. He has moved through the ranks as senior engineer, project manager, senior project manager, and construction manager. Tony has a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Purdue University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Blake Chambliss, Chief Operations Officer
Construction Manager Blake Chambliss has been with Pinkard for almost 40 years. His list of successful projects spans just about the entire gamut of project types, from satellite uplink facilities to recreation centers, multi-family, senior housing, fire training centers, healthcare, and Class A office buildings.
Odette Bent-Buckles, Chief Financial Officer
Odette joined Pinkard Construction as Chief Financial Officer in 2014. With a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from UCCS, Odette oversees Pinkard’s accounting, human resources, and information technology departments. She has been in the construction industry since 1994.
Jose Amaya, Chief Business Development Officer
Jose has recently served in executive-level business development roles at companies like JE Dunn Construction, Cumming Corporation, and Select Building Group Commercial. He has identified opportunities and built relationships with Owners, Developers, General Contractors, and Architectural/Engineering firms for the last 25 years.
