
As part of its compensation strategy, Pinkard offers a number of different insurance plans for eligible employees. Employment benefits may vary according to the position and status of the employee. To receive certain benefits, eligible employees may be required to meet participation requirements and pay required premiums and other contributions. The Company complies with all applicable federal and state laws regarding the provision of benefits to same- sex spouses, domestic partners and couples in a civil union.
Medical, Dental, Life and Disability insurance programs
After 30 days of employment and the first of the following month, full-time employees are eligible to participate in group medical, dental, life and disability insurance programs. For additional information and plan details, contact Human Resources.
401(k) Plan
Eligible employees receive a qualified nonelective contribution (an employer-paid contribution)equalto 3% of pay for the portion of the plan year that they were an active participant.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Full-TimeField-Hourly Employees receive 8 hours of PTO is granted for each 200 hours worked (this includes overtime hours worked). Beginning the fifth year of employment, 8 hours of PTO is granted foreach 125 hours worked. The maximum that may be accrued at any one time is 120 hours of PTO for those who have worked less than five years, and 160 hour beginning the fifth year of employment.

Company Bonus Program
Pinkard provides for the possibility of an annual bonus. This program and the amounts allocated, if any, are discretionary. The bonus plan is contingent upon company profitability and are computed after consideration for retaining earning for the long-term financial health of the company.
Volunteer time off (VTO)
Volunteer time, up to 16 hours per calendar year, will be considered paid time off, when the volunteer activity occurs during the workweek. The pay rate will be calculated using the employee’s current base salary on the day(s) the time is taken.
Profit Sharing Plan
The Profit Sharing portion of the plan is funded by Pinkard. Each year, based on profits earned, Pinkard may make a profit sharing contribution to your individual 401(k) account.
Educational Assistance Plan
Pinkard Construction Co. encourages its employees to continue their education and training and has established an educational reimbursement program to provide financial assistance for educational courses related to their jobs or careers. Pinkard will reimburse up to a maximum of $5,250 within any one calendar year for educational courses obtained through an accredited university, college, or technical college or approved degree or certificate program. The courses must be directly related to an employee’s current position or could lead to promotional opportunities for the employee.
Prescription Safety Glasses Reimbursement
Employees are eligible for up to a $100 reimbursement for ANSI Z.87 safety glasses with permanently affixed side shields. See HR or Safety for details.
Safety Program & Recognition Program
The Pinkard Construction Company employee reward and recognition programs serves to motivate and positively reinforce Regular Full Time Hourly Field (field-hourly) employees. These employees are rewarded for proper safety related behavior and performance on our projects and this serves as the foundation of the Pinkard “Safety Bucks” reward and recognition program.
