Willoughby Corner

Pinkard Construction, a leading affordable housing contractor, broke ground today on Willoughby Corner, a 400-unit affordable housing development in Lafayette, Colorado. The project is a collaboration between the Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA), the City of Lafayette, Pinkard Construction, Norris Design, and HB&A Architects. The first homes, 63 affordable ADA-accessible apartments for adults age 55 and over, will be ready for move-in as early as fall 2024. The first phase also includes 129 affordable multi-family homes and a community center.

Emma Street Closure - Update

The planned closure of Emma Street has been delayed and the new date is currently TBD. We well continue to provide updates as the exact new closure date becomes more certain. Thank you!

Planned Closure on Emma Street

Based on our current schedule, a planned closure of both lanes on Emma Street between Canterbury Drive and 120th Street is set to begin next week on April 23rd. During this closure, Emma and 120th will be connected using Canterbury Drive. With heavy equipment and many crews working in the area on both sides of the road, we kindly ask that you please use extra caution when traveling through the construction site. Thank you!

Canterbury Drive Paving

Paving of the new Canterbury Drive is set to begin this week. Once completed, the new road will connect traffic from East Emma Street to 120th Street though the site. No closures are expected during this phase, however, please be aware of paving crews as they work to tie the new road into the existing infrastructure on East Emma Street and 120th Street.

Emma Street - One Lane Road Closure

Starting September 25th there will be a 1 lane road closure on Emma St. between Canterbury Dr. and 120th St.
