Centura Health's newest Neighborhood Health Centers, one in Golden and one in Arvada, are each approximately 10,700 sf. Each is a primary care facility with 16 exam rooms, a wellness atrium, x-ray, mammography, and phlebotomy.
Each Center is single story structural steel construction with a metal deck and crawl space. The skin is stucco and stone.
The Golden Center's larger site required extensive over excavation due to a dipping bedrock zone. Golden also includes a photo voltaic solar array.
Distinctly different from the fragmented medical care available in most communities today, Centura Health's Neighborhood Health Centers are built upon the key components of optimal health: primary care, specialty services, urgent care, diagnostic and laboratory services and occupational health.
"I've been very impressed with Pinkard and the end result; walking into our buildings and seeing how they were constructed. The overall integrity of our buildings is very good. It’s high quality work. The facility looks very good; I’ve had a lot of good comments from our visitors."
"I really appreciated that Pinkard had a conscious awareness of my budget. They didn’t just spend my money. They would ask questions to understand that the money was being spent in the most efficient way possible. They were good stewards of my money and were always looking for ways to save or keep to the budget. Pinkard did a really good job."
